When this model arrived, it could not not pull its own tender. There were 27 broken solder joints, the rear frame pulled apart, and the power reverse that was supposed to work, did not.

Those were the issues needing repair. Fair enough.

But the often-overlooked reality of making repairs on something of this nature is its remarkable size and weight. This particular locomotive weighs 9 LBS. Therein lies the true problem. The real trick is not damaging all of the other delicate parts while repairing the broken and loose parts. Situational awareness is key to success here.
